1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 stick butter
2 eggs
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp rum (or more if you love rum)
2 apples (if you have 3, that’s also fine!)
1/3 cup sour cream
Pre-heat your oven to 350F.
Cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, then add the rum, then the vanilla.
Add all the dry ingredients, and stir well.
Add the apples cut into small chunks.
Grease a cake pan, pour in your cake batter. Sprinkle some granulated sugar on top.
Bake for 40mns or until the top of your cake is golden.
I like to sprinkle some sliced almonds and extra powdered sugar on the cake when it’s cool, but it’s just as good naked.
